Welcome to the world of Squishy Sticks

Squishy Sticks are amazing. You can make lots of things with them - people, jewellery, animals and even buildings. It doesn't stop there, if you can imagine something, just go ahead and try to create it. There are four very important shapes that you can make with Squishy Sticks. They are the building blocks of all the objects in the world:

When playing with Squishy Sticks, you are working with a precious material that doesn't need glue. Like all the top people in Squishy World, wear an old t-shirt or an apron. Then let yourself go really wild and  get creative...

We asked our best builders and artists from Squishy World to come up with the ultimate set of instructions, so here they are for you apprentices:

1. Using water, wet a sponge (not included).  sure you are not using your or dad's favourite sponge though.
2. Once you have wet the sponge, squeeze it as tight as you can to get rid of the extra water. Do you pull a funny face when you squeeze out your sponge?
3. Now you can use the sponge to wet the Squishy Stick. We prefer a dabbing action but   it's best for you to develop your own style. Some important information: Be careful! If you wet the Squishy Stick too much it will disappear completely as the precious material will melt away in your hands.
4. Our favourite step: Get Making!  Can you make a necklace or a car?  You can even stick Squishy Sticks on to paper and make some snazzy pictures.

Important information

Before you begin:
You will need water and a sponge  
Make sure all working areas are covered with a cloth or old newspaper.  
Always wear old clothes or an apron.

Warning
Squishy Sticks are not suitable for children under 3 years.  
Do not give individual Squishy Sticks or completed toys to young children.
Squishy Sticks are made from natural biodegradable starch extracts. They are coloured with vegetable dyes which may stain. To remove stains, try soaking in soap and water overnight prior to washing. Do not use bleach or biological washing powder.

How to use
Squishy Sticks stick together without the use of glue.   
To do this, take a Squishy Stick and with a wet sponge  (not included), dampen the part you want to stick.  
Do the same to another Squishy Stick.  
Press the damp parts of both Squishy Sticks together and ta-da! Your Squishy Sticks are stuck!  
You can stick as many Squishy Sticks together as you  want, just repeat the above steps.  
You'll be amazed at what you can make with them!

NB: do not over-wet your Squishy Sticks and be careful not to get your finished creations wet.
