Learning from Play

Our Learning from Play product themes have been researched and designed to help meet the teaching needs of the new Foundation Phase.

Designed with the help of primary school teachers and their pupils, our products have all been through the classroom test and passed with flying colours.

Our products support the teachers’ work in the classroom by providing a readymade, easy to assemble and decorate central theme. This saves time frequently spent sourcing materials, helping teachers to expand and develop their themes quickly whilst involving their pupils from the moment the package arrives.

Teachers love our themes.  They help encourage young children to engage in active learning by inspiring imaginative thought and continuous discovery.  They help support the aims and objectives of the Foundation Phase curriculum.  

Using our state of the art CAD system, all of our product themes have been professionally designed for ease of assembly and all constructions comply with current Health and Safety regulations.

Learning from Play is a division of Welsh Boxes, a company specialising in the production of complex product packaging structures designed to protect valuable products such as boats, automotive and electronic assemblies as they travel from factory to customer.

Learning from Play designers have drawn on the Company’s years of experience designing corrugated protective packaging.  They have combined this expertise with practical advice from teachers in order to produce our market leading range of imaginative products.

Operating from a 46,000 sq ft manufacturing, warehousing and head office facility in South Wales, Welsh Boxes has won numerous awards for its product design.

Welsh Boxes is an active member of the Corrugated Recycles Campaign.
